-history o story?-

-history o story?-
Nota d'uso
La parola history significa “storia” in riferimento agli eventi e alle persone del passato o al loro studio: ancient history, storia antica; The First World War marks the start of contemporary European history, la Prima guerra mondiale segna l'inizio della storia contemporanea europea; He studied History of Art at university, ha studiato la storia dell'arte all'università. Story si usa, invece, in riferimento ai fatti personali, e significa anche storia nel senso di “racconto”: It's the story of my life, è la storia della mia vita; a collection of children's stories, una raccolta di racconti per ragazzi.
